Surgeonal is a surgery logging App aimed at helping Surgeons and Surgery students keep a record of their surgical activities for academic and professional growth. It is cloud-based and automatically syncs data across all user's devices in real-time. Surgeonal covers several specialties but keeps the options open by letting the user choose an 'Other' specialty option that is generic. However, the users' provision of their specialty helps them get a better experience by getting autosuggestions on the surgery logging form fields such as the procedure name, category, approach, and techniques. An autocompletion suggestion based on the user's entered text. It is important to note that the Surgeonal App does not collect any patient-specific data including but not limited to (name, address, age(exact age), date of birth, National Identity number,medical history, Race, Nationality, profession, marital status, etc). The surgery logging form contains the following fields and collects the corresponding data. -Procedure Date -Procedure Category -Procedure Name -Procedure Approach -Surgical Techniques -Patient age (in a range of not less than 10 years to promote data anonymity) -Gender -diagnosis -Anesthesia -Role(involvement) -Components. -Venue (for surgeon's reference) -Reference(surgeon's notes) The Surgeonal App is a freemium App that lets the users get limited access to the App functionalities for free such as logging 10 Procedures, getting access to all the analytics offered by the App, viewing the logbook, and generating reports. The pro access is available on three offers which are monthly, bi-annually, and annually. Pro users can log unlimited procedures. All users can update their details such as name and specialty and can delete their data with us by going to the settings and tapping on the delete account button and following the instructions to complete their account deletion steps. This process is instantaneous and irreversible.
