OMSZ Meteora: Offizielles 1,6-km-Präzisionswetter und Warnungen für Ungarn

Meteora is the official weather app from HungaroMet (Hungarian Meteorological Service). Features the most accurate alerts and forecasts with 1.6 km precision for Hungary. The app send alerts and notifications only within the boundaries of Hungary. The today widget features an analog watch face for displaying timely precipitation and alert info. The weather data featured on the widget are automatically refreshed for the actual location of the user in the background. Disclaimer: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. The widget features daily and 6 hour forecasts for the next four days. The map and custom view of the app can be open from using the app icon or the widget. The map view features weather overlays for Hungary that can be animated and combined over the map. The app features a custom locations view where the user can select locations for weather forecast or can set lakes for storm alerts via push notifications. The users can also send anonymous confirmations for weather warnings and alerts or photos that appear in the HungaroMet MET-ESZ observer network, for which the users can also choose to use their own MET-ESZ id.
