GreenScan App checks the composition of products for you! The unique mobile app neatly and briefly shows information about the product ingredients and their impact on your health and the planet after you scan it. With the GreenScan App, you will have a complete overview in your pocket. In addition, thanks to the detailed user profile settings, the application will show you the suitability of selected cosmetic or cleaning products according to your preferences. It’s easy, simply choose your hair type, skin sensitivity, allergies and much more in the settings, and then simply follow what’s best for you with the GreenScan App. GreenScan App is and will remain non-profitable. It’s funded from various sources, however, always under the condition of independence and transparency guarantee. Scan or write: Simply scan the barcode or type in the name of the product. Get the information: The app will show you a rating of the product ingredients. Upload a product: If a product isn't in the database you can add it yourself! Rating of the ingredients: You will find a colourful number scale under the curios icon ? - your personal decoder of the ingredients' secrets! Just a quick glance and you know where your favourite product stands. Ingredient details: By clicking on an ingredient, you will quickly find out if it's suitable for you. Sources and studies: For those of you, who want to know more, there is detailed information on our website. How do we grade? First of all, we don't evaluate/rate products; we focus on the ingredients and their worst properties. A colour grading scale: different colours show how safe or harmful an ingredient is. The ground rule: Although the grading is primarily based on the worst property of an ingredient, we can't forget about the positive aspects and contributions. Sources: We believe in science! Our data comes from trusted sources and studies. Relevancy: We’re human and we update accordingly to our possibilities. If you find outdated information, we will gladly adjust it. Why GreenScan?
