This app is a fully functional transformer lab simulator that was designed and developed by a journeyman lineman, for lineman and apprentices. You can use this app to study and learn your transformer connections. When the fuses are closed in you can test your connections with a volt meter, ohm meter, and a rotation meter. Abnormal voltages and cutout fuses exploding can occur when improper connections are made. In the labs you can also inspect the transformers' nameplates and secondary coils. Quick reference diagrams, basic transformer informational reading material and more are available in this application. The Quiz mode lets you test your knowledge.
