CGR | CR: Your Digital Bridge to Transparency and Public Accountability

The Comptroller General of the Republic, in the constant search for tools that promote transparency and accountability available to citizens, media, civil society, policy makers, private and public institutions and a new tool technology that will allow access to relevant information on the controller work. We present an application for mobile phones and devices as a tool to promote citizen complaints and access to public information. With these tools, easily accessible and free of charge, promote the principle of citizen participation as an essential ingredient to building a participatory democracy to new links between society and institutions. This facilitates the exercise of social control, which favors the recovery of the legitimacy of state institutions, strengthen governance, and creates an opportunity to strengthen democracy and respect of the public as everyone's responsibility.
