Maritime Master – Nav Lights lets you explore realistic navigation light patterns in 3D and then test yourself on vessel type and aspect recognition. Rotate around the ship, see how the lights change with your bearing, and connect what you see to the COLREG rules that define each pattern. Explore COLREGS light patterns Browse a full set of navigation light configurations for power-driven vessels, vessels at anchor and aground, NUC, RAM, mine-clearance, dredgers, tugs and tows, fishing vessels, pilot vessels, air-cushion craft and WIG craft. View each pattern on a dark-hull 3D ship at night and drag to rotate around it to see the lights from dead ahead, bow, beam, quarter and astern. See a clear, plain-language COLREG rule overview for every pattern, linked to Rules 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31. Check exactly which physical lights are fitted with a breakdown of masthead, sidelights, sternlight, towing light and all-round signal lights. Smart reference and search Group patterns by COLREG rule, by vessel size (over 50 m / under 50 m), or browse a simple A–Z list.
