Young's Literal Bible (YLT)

Young's Literal Translation (YLT) is a translation of the Bible into English. The translation was made by Robert Young, compiler of Young's Analytical Concordance to the Bible and Concise Critical Comments on the New Testament. Produced and printed in the late 19th century, Young's Literal Translation was designed to assist students in the close study of the Biblical text by reproducing in English the Hebrew and Greek language and idioms in an exceedingly literal translation.
