Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI) is a disorder caused by damage to the parts of the brain that process vision. According to the Pediatric Cortical Visual Impairment Society, CVI has become the leading cause of visual impairment in children in developed countries. As a result, CVI manifests itself as a constant visual challenge for children and even young adults. With Bubbly, we are changing that. Unlike other CVI-focused apps that just assist with the visual recognition of shapes and objects, Bubbly is designed to help your child gain the literacy skills they need while navigating the effects of CVI. With bright colors, engaging sounds, and an endless possibility of words and letters to mix and match, Bubbly is a unique approach to helping CVI-diagnosed children advance their reading comprehension skills to the next level. Bubbly’s growing list of features includes: - Built-in word lists: individual letters, kindergarten sight words, first-grade sight words, and CVC words - Custom word lists: create custom lists with your own words or words from the built-in lists - Rich settings: Customize colors, sizing options, gestures, and much more to make Bubbly match your gameplay needs - Game summaries: See which words need work at a glance after each game - Fun feedback: Fun sounds and visuals to keep users with CVI focused and engaged Bubbly does not track its users nor collect any personal data.
