The Capitol app – convenient, fast, and secure. With the Capitol app for your smartphone, you have access to your credit card account information and convenient functionalities anytime and anywhere: - View your current balance and available credit limit in real-time - View all pending and posted transactions - Confirm your online purchases quickly and securely - View or download your account statements - Activate spend alerts - Quick login via Touch ID or Face ID - Access info on products and benefits Information about cookies The Capitol app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to send messages to its users. It is essential to secure transactions with Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) using in-app notifications. To do so, it sends a previously generated anonymous Firebase Installation ID (FID) to Google so that we can identify app users and send them messages related to SCA purposes. The installation ID is stored on your device’s keychain secure place as strictly necessary to provide the services, and is removed when the app is uninstalled. In addition to the mandatory SCA notifications, the FID will also be used as strictly necessary for optional notifications you may ask for within the app. Information on the functionality of Cloud Messaging is available under https://firebase.google.com/products/cloud-messaging/.
