The app uses AR and Lidar technology to create a 3D model of the forest where you could walk around and measure Basal area, Diameter, Tree species, Trees per hectare, and height in sample plots. Afterward you could see the result on a map and do summaries offline. Arboreal Forest is the first tool on a phone where you could measure the most important forest parameters without additional tools or references.
