One of the most addictive Rummy Based Conquian Card Game. Conquian is a two-player rummy type game and is played with standard playing cards. The Pack of Colonel Rummy A standard pack of 52 cards with all the tens, nines and eights removed, leaving a total of 40 cards in the deck with conquian card game. Rank of Cards with Conquian The jack and seven are considered to be in sequence. The rank of an ace is low only so that the sequence A, 2, 3 can be formed, but not A, K, Q. Object of the Conquian Rummy Each player tries to form matched sets consisting of groups of three or four of a kind, or sequences of three or more cards of the same suit. The Deal with Conquian Each of the two players is dealt 10 cards. The remaining cards form the stock; no upcard is turned. The Coon Can Play After the deal is completed, the non-dealer turns up the top card of the stock. The player does not put it into their hand but must immediately meld it, along with cards from their hand, or discard it. Melds or Spreads are as in regular Rummy - matched sets of three or four or a sequence of three or more cards of the same suit. On Each player in turn thereafter must either take the top discard and meld it (placing the meld face up on the table), or turn up the top card of the stock and meld or discard it. Keep track of what cards have been played - Try to memorize what other players have in front of them and what’s already been discarded. Discard cards that force your opponent to meld - Try and pick the card that’s most inconvenient for your opponent. If you can force them into taking a card in a meld, it can force them to discard a card and limit their options during later turns.
