ICBF exists to benefit our farmers, our agri-food industry and our wider communities through genetic gain. We do this by the application of science and technology to ensure that our farmers and industry make the most profitable and sustainable decisions through the use of the services provided from the ICBF cattle breeding database. One of the main functions of the new and improved ICBF HerdPlus App is to promote quick and easy data recording. We want our farmers to be able to record data anytime, anywhere, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Phase 1 of the new and improved ICBF HerdPlus App focuses on the data recording of health and dry off events in the dairy herd. Through the procurement of essential farmer feedback, we will continue to develop phase 1 and will take all feedback on board for the development and roll out of future phases. Our goal is to build an app that ensure a positive user experience for our farmers.
