O IDEAK é uma Associação Espírita sem fins lucrativos criada com o objetivo de divulgar para o mundo o Espiritismo, segundo o pensamento e as obras de Allan Kardec. A KARDECPEDIA é uma plataforma interativa que facilita o estudo das obras de Allan Kardec, o fundador da Doutrina Espírita, ou Espiritismo. Palavra por ele criada para designar a doutrina exposta na sua primeira grande obra: O Livro dos Espíritos. O Espiritismo foi definido por Kardec como "uma ciência que trata da natureza, origem e destino dos Espíritos, bem como de suas relações com o mundo corporal". Na KARDECPEDIA, todas as obras de Kardec são apresentadas nos idiomas português e francês. Em inglês e espanhol, serão apresentadas apenas aquelas obras que já existem traduzidas e em domínio público.
