"

"Music League has turned my friend group's casual music sharing into a high-stakes competition! It's the highlight of my week to see who won the 'Freshman Dorm' theme and read everyone’s hilarious comments. It’s honestly the best way to stay connected with friends while discovering songs I actually like."

"I finally found an app that values human curation over boring AI algorithms. Competing in different leagues has helped me find my new favorite artists, and there’s nothing more satisfying than winning a round and proving my music taste is top-tier. It’s addictive, social, and a must-have for any true music fan."

Description

Music League lets you share and discover music (and rediscover some forgotten faves) by competing to determine the best songs for a particular theme! If you want to discover new music, you will, all while you share songs you’re passionate about. With some luck, you can claim to have better taste in music than your friends, family or coworkers. You can even play with someone from the other side of the planet! Music League fans play for many different reasons …to win, to reminisce, to reconnect, to get to know each other. But also to discover new tunes and rediscover older favorites by looking at music in a totally new way. Music League players will submit a song for each round's "theme". Every round presents a new way to think about your music and a reason to share the songs you love, the songs you always thought deserved more love, or the songs you find that perfectly fit the theme. Sample themes could include: - Best cover song - Songs that remind us of our Freshman Dorm - Song I found TikTok - Best song of 2025 so far - Best song you've seen performed live - Songs that remind us of the family cabin - Songs to sing in the shower - Song from an artist my child/parent should get into Gameplay: - Players submit a song that matches a theme - The app creates anonymous, shuffled Spotify playlist … a free (or paid) Spotify account is required. - Players vote for which songs they like best or the song that fits the theme best - Players can comment on songs as they vote - When the votes are in, you are able to see who submitted which songs, all the comments and, most importantly: who won the round! - A champion is crowned for each round… updating the leaderboard along the way - An overall champion for each Music League is named after the last round - You’ll also see who gave you the most love…and the least! Features: Music League is always evolving. Features are added along the way …more will be coming (don’t be shy, let us know what you think we should add!)
