Met de Passend Lezen-app kunt u op ieder gewenst moment luisteren naar de gesproken boeken en kranten en tijdschriften die worden aangeboden door Passend Lezen. De lectuur wordt aangeboden via streaming en is eventueel te downloaden voor offline gebruik. Om gebruik te kunnen maken van deze app, dient u als klant ingeschreven te staan bij Bibliotheekservice Passend Lezen. Met uw gebruikersnaam en wachtwoord kunt u inloggen voor deze online dienstverlening. Na het inloggen komt u direct uit bij uw persoonlijke boekenplank met daarop uw boeken en/of hoorspelen en hoorcolleges. Let op: de dienstverlening van Passend Lezen is alleen toegankelijk voor mensen met een visuele of andere leesbeperking. Kijk voor meer info op: www.passendlezen.nl. De voordelen van de Passend Lezen-app op een rij: De Passend Lezen-app ondersteunt de verschillende navigatiemogelijkheden volgens de Daisy-standaard, zoals verder luisteren vanaf het volgende of vorige hoofdstuk en springen naar de volgende of vorige pagina indien deze navigatieniveaus beschikbaar zijn. Ook kunt u vanuit de inhoudsopgave direct naar een hoofdstuk, rubriek of pagina springen. Verder kunt u bladwijzers plaatsen, zodat u passages gemakkelijk terug kunt vinden. De lijst van bladwijzers vindt u bij de inhoudsopgave. Aangemaakte bladwijzers verwijdert u weer eenvoudig. De Passend Lezen-app onthoudt bovendien per titel waar u bent gebleven. Zo luistert u gemakkelijk verder vanaf het punt waar u gebleven bent. Met één druk op de knop downloadt u boeken en tijdschriften om ze later zonder internet verbinding te kunnen lezen. Voeg eenvoudig nieuwe titels aan uw boekenplank toe door te zoeken in de catalogus van Passend Lezen of maak een keuze uit de maandelijks vernieuwde aanwinstenlijst. Uw lectuur kan worden afgespeeld in achtergrondmodus, dus u kunt blijven luisteren terwijl u uw mail checkt of een andere app gebruikt.
