With The Voice Keeper, your child can sound familiar and unique, so every message feels more like them and less like a default computer voice. Making AAC Personal: Our app helps families give kids who use AAC a voice that feels personal, familiar, and truly theirs, so they can be heard as themselves, not as “the default voice.” Simple Yet Transformative: Getting started is easy. Choose a voice source: Voice Donation: a parent, sibling, teacher, or someone close records just 5 short sentences in our app. Personal Recording: use the AAC user’s own recording when relevant. We then create a unique voice based on that recording for use with AAC. Easy Integration with iOS: Once created, the voice integrates with iOS and can be used with leading AAC apps for seamless communication. Privacy by Design (Offline Voices): These voices are designed for privacy. The voice works without an internet connection once installed, so your child can communicate offline. We keep recordings only as long as needed to provide the service: original recordings are automatically deleted within 72 hours. We do not sell user data, and we do not use your recordings to train unrelated voice models. A Tool for Many: Ideal for children and adults who use AAC, including autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, aphasia, apraxia, ALS and other speech challenges. PRC-Saltillo users can use these voices free on supported AAC apps and devices. Languages: Voices can currently be created in English and Spanish.
