Description

One tap. One second. Done. Instantly see how strong the UV is right now. UV rays reach your skin on cloudy days and even in winter. UV radiation is the leading cause of skin aging — it's a year-round concern. But opening a weather app, scrolling through screens, hunting for the UV section? Too much hassle. This app is different. Open it, and you're done. Key Features · Instant Check — The moment you open the app, your current UV index appears. No loading. No scrolling. · Hourly Forecast — See how UV levels change throughout the day at a glance. Plan your outdoor time smarter. · Intuitive Guidance — Not just numbers. Emoji indicators and clear level descriptions help anyone understand UV conditions instantly. WHO UV Index Guidelines The UV Index was developed by the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Meteorological Organization, and other international bodies as a global standard for UV reporting. Here's what each level means: · 0–2 (Low) — Minimal risk. You can safely enjoy the outdoors. · 3–5 (Moderate) — Seek shade at midday. Wear sunglasses, a hat, and apply SPF 30+ sunscreen. · 6–7 (High) — Reduce sun exposure between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sunscreen and protective clothing are essential. · 8–10 (Very High) — Take extra precautions. Fair-skinned individuals may burn in under 10 minutes. · 11+ (Extreme) — Avoid outdoor exposure if possible. Unprotected fair skin can burn in less than 5 minutes. Note: These recommendations are based on lightly tanned skin (Fitzpatrick Type II). If you have lighter skin, children, or are on photosensitizing medication, take extra care. Those with darker skin tones may tolerate more exposure, but UV damage is cumulative for everyone. Perfect For · Anyone who wants a fast UV check before heading out · People who care about skin protection and sunscreen timing · Those who want just the essential info without a complex weather app · Runners, hikers, commuters — anyone active under the sun UV check — one second is all it takes.
