Injury Capture

Use the Injury Capture app to privately record and securely store legally admissible forensic evidence of assault, domestic abuse or sexual offences. It's up to you, if and when, you choose to formally report the crime and submit the evidence to the police.​ Until then, it will be securely stored on our cloud. Whether you choose to submit the evidence you capture with this app, today, tomorrow or in a few years time, it will be evidentially admissible and able to support a swift investigation and hopefully prosecution.​ When you're feeling ready to say something, protection, safety and justice are now just a few taps away.​ The app is internationally accredited for both it's cloud security and evidential standards. Any photographs or videos captured with the apps in-app camera will NOT be stored on your device. All data and information you upload to the app will be validated using it's meta data meaning that it will all be immediately legally admissible and usable, if and when you choose to submit it, via the app, to the police. This also means that in a majority of cases, the police will not need to undertake a full download of your personal device as the evidence will already be authenticated. The app is all about giving you options; Justice has different meanings to different people. If you don't want to report the crime to the police, you can download all of the evidence you capture and save, in a civil claim statement format. This can be used by a lawyer to help you obtain a civil protection order, restraining order or similar. FURTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR VICTIMS: (a) When installed, the app will appear on your home screen as 'Capture'. (b) On iOS you can 'Remove from Home Screen' by pressing and holding down the icon and then clicking 'Remove App'. The app will however still appear in your Settings list, if someone is really looking for it. So, we've got two other options for you: (1) If you delete the app, it will not delete your account and data. Data can only be deleted from inside the app and the app is protected by an individual PIN which is chosen by you on registration. It can also be protected by Face ID. Therefore, you can download the app, record and store the evidence, and then delete the app again. The data will be securely retained and available when you re-download and log back in. Or you can access the data by logging in using the web-app which is available via our website using a computer web browser. (2) If you don't feel comfortable downloading and using the app on your own device, ask a friend, relative or support worker to download the app, register in that capacity and use the app to help you to capture and record all of the evidence. It will be stored safely and securely on their account, ready, if and when you want them to submit it to the police.
