Immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN), C3 glomerulopathy (C3G), atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS) and lupus nephritis (LN) are diseases that affect the organ system kidney. Young people between the ages of 20 and 40 are affected. The median age for C3G is 26 years. Therefore, adolescents or even children are also affected. C3G was found to affect fewer than 4,000 patients in 2017. aHUS affects fewer than 2,000 people, for example, in the United States. Here, for the first time, Insight Kidney attempts to visualize these rare kidney diseases with anatomically correct 3D representations to fill the knowledge gap for patients.
