Desde abril de 2018, el Banco Central de Bolivia (BCB) emitió la Primera Familia de Billetes (PFB) del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia, dicha emisión comenzó con el billete de Bs10, continuando cada 3 meses con los cortes siguientes. La aplicación “Billetes de Bolivia” permite conocer las medidas de seguridad de los nuevos billetes de “Boliviano”, a través de las siguientes acciones: MIRE, TOQUE e INCLINE. Dentro de cada una de estas acciones se muestran diferentes medidas de seguridad que deben ser verificadas por la población, a fin de reconocer un billete auténtico de uno falso. MIRE • Marca de Agua • Motivo coincidente • Fibrillas TOQUE • Calidad del Papel • Impresión en Alto Relieve • Líneas y Barras en Alto Relieve INCLINE • Imagen con Cambio de Color y Movimiento • Hilo de Seguridad • Imagen Latente Los nuevos billetes circularán simultáneamente con los billetes de la anterior familia, hasta que estos últimos sean retirados de circulación por su deterioro.
