Description

Imagine a patient, intubated in an ICU, unable to speak but needing to express pain, report an allergy, or communicate a crucial medical condition. In these moments, communication isn’t just important — it’s essential. EasyTalk is a communication tool designed to bridge the gap between healthcare professionals and patients with speech limitations — whether due to physical, cognitive, emotional, or cultural barriers. With a clean and intuitive interface, EasyTalk enables shared use of an iPad between medical staff and patients. Visual cards representing key medical information — symptoms, procedures, allergies, conditions — can be selected, reordered, and organized on a dynamic canvas. Cards are grouped into clear categories, making navigation simple and efficient during critical care moments. What makes EasyTalk unique is its proprietary pictographic system, carefully crafted to be universally understood and to either complement or replace spoken language. Additional features include: • Tap to add or rearrange cards on a freeform canvas • Hierarchically grouped categories for easy browsing • Audio playback for each card — ideal for patients who can hear but cannot speak • Ability to reset, clear, or expand the canvas for more space Whether in ICUs, emergency rooms, or routine care, EasyTalk empowers patients to be heard — even when they can’t speak.
