Im Zentrum stehen Politik, Umwelt, Gesellschaft, Wirtschaft, Gesundheit, Bildung, Mann/Frau und Medien. Hinter der Plattform Infosperber.ch steht die gemeinnützige «Schweizerische Stiftung zur Förderung unabhängiger Information» SSUI. Weder ein Millionär noch ein Konzern kann sie kaufen. Die Stiftung will einen Journalismus fördern, der keine Rücksichten nehmen muss auf Verlagskonzerne, Lobbys und Behörden. «Infosperber sieht, was andere übersehen» und geht davon aus, dass sich die Leserinnen und Leser in grossen Medien bereits informiert haben. Infosperber finanziert sich mit Spenden der Leserinnen und Leser. Die Spenden kommen zu über 90 Prozent der journalistischen Arbeit zugute.
