Also the Chinese banknotes which have the Uyghur script. • OFF-LINE INDEPENDENT Once downloaded, you don't need internet to use the app. All audios and pictures are integrated within. The App uses the Uyghur Latin Yëziqi (ULY) transiliteration system. It is widely used since 2000 and now officially approved by the Xinjiang Language and Script Committee. You can also select the word in alphabetical order by clicking “uyghur” in the menu bar. When you get a hang of the Uyghur handwritings, your understanding of the Uyghur culture will improve naturally. Uyghur is the language of everyday communication for nearly 8 million people, most of them Muslims in Xinjiang of China. Written in a modified Arabic script, Uyghur is closely related to Uzbek. The standard Uyghur is understood everywhere in Xinjiang .
