MapChick's Isla Mujeres is designed to work entirely offline to prevent surprise International roaming charges (external links to Facebook pages, navigation, etc. will use data). After downloading the app, you’ll be asked to download our database of information to your device. This allows us to provide frequent updates without the need to download the entire app again. Download the free version and start planning your vacation in paradise with a directory of nearly 300 hotels and rental properties (including map locations), plus information about the island, the Cancun airport, ferry service, using pesos, great beach reads, and making phone calls. Love what you see in the free version? Upgrade to the paid version and unlock all the attractions and dining experiences this magical island has to offer: Restaurants, 200+; beaches and beach clubs, 30+, attractions and art, 120+; shopping, 100+; services and medical, 90+; transportation, 40+. Plus, each of the above categories includes tips and information to help you get the most from your Caribbean vacation. Optional app features that will use cellular data roaming or WiFi: • External links to restaurant menus. We currently have about 50 restaurant menus available for you to explore, but if we downloaded them all to your phone you wouldn't have much storage left for vacation photos. • Peso converter (included with paid version). This feature requires data to access current exchange rates. • External links (Example: Facebook, web sites, email, phone calls). • App updates from the database (WiFi connection recommended).
