Description

This tool is based on the National Early Warning Score table. Keep in mind that your organization may have different guidelines. NOTE! A low score does not rule out serious illness. NEWS is a supplementary tool for assessing the vital functions of adult patients and must always be used in combination with the competence and clinical judgment of healthcare professionals.
