في اطار حرص الحكومة المصرية على تحسين جودة الحياة للأشخاص ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، وفي اطار حرص مركز المعلومات ودعم اتخاذ القرار على الاهتمام بالبحث العلمي وتطوير الكفاءات العلمية والبحثية الخاصة بالباحثين المكفوفين وضعاف البصر، تم اطلاق هذا التطبيق لانشاء مكتبة رقمية مسموعة لهم وامكانية الوصول إلى كافة الاصدارات العلمية للمركز للاستفادة بها في مسيرتهم العلمية والبحثية على النحو الذي يكفل المساواة بين جميع الباحثين في الحصول على المعلومات في مختلف مجالات البحث العلمي. وسوف يتضمن التطبيق - المجلة الدولية للسياسات العامة في مصر وهي مجلة علمية دولية مُحكمة تختص بنشر البحـوث والدراسـات المُتعلقة بمجالات السياسات العامة المختلفة، ورصد آخر التطورات في ذلك الشأن، ويُسهم فيها باحثون وكتَّاب محليون ودوليون لهم خبرة ودراية موضوعية.
