Description

Tafsîr al-Mishbâh adalah karya tafsir monumental oleh seorang cendekiawan Islam Indonesia, Muhammad Quraish Shihab. Diterbitkan oleh Lentera Hati pada tahun 2001, Tafsir al-Mishbah merupakan interpretasi lengkap pertama dari 30 Juz Al-Qur'an dalam 30 tahun terakhir. Tafsir ini bertujuan untuk interpretasi Al-Qur'an dalam kaitannya dengan isu-isu kontemporer. l-Mishbah berarti "lentera", yang mengandung arti kehidupan dan urusan manusia yang diterangi oleh cahaya Al-Qur'an. Sesuai dengan namanya, penulis bertujuan untuk menyampaikan Al-Qur'an agar lebih "berpijak" dan mudah dipahami.
