Description

This mobile app is a business application for customers of Vertex Medical Solutions (primarily Anesthesiologist, CRNA or billing companies which work with practices of Anesthesia medicine). The primary function of the application is to take snapshots of paper documents required to process your Anesthesia medical bill entered into our system. The expected documents captured are Demographic Face Sheet, Anesthesia operative Records, Charge Sheet, Surgeon Codes, Block Sheets, Dental 22 pt, and Dental Necessity. The images may then be tied to a case you are submitting for online billing through the Vertex website (http://www.vertexmed.com). When taking images, via use of the mobile device camera, you can tie the images to claims you have already entered into the system by selecting the appropriate date-patient name from the drop-down. You can also upload images for claims you have not yet entered. The images will be saved with the current date and time on the Vertex Server. You will have the ability to view and select the appropriate image when entering that claim. The app also gives manages your schedule in real time. Manage cases, call patients, enter pre-op data, change case duration, and much more. This application is fully HIPAA compliant.
