El Diccionari de la llengua catalana de l’Institut d’Estudis Catalans (DIEC) és l’obra de referència que estableix la normativa lèxica de la llengua catalana. D’ençà de la seva publicació, l’abril de 2007, la segona edició del DIEC ha estat objecte de diverses actualitzacions. A través d’aquesta aplicació, l’Institut posa a l’abast dels usuaris la versió completa i més actual de l’obra, que incorpora periòdicament les esmenes que són aprovades. L'INSTITUT D’ESTUDIS CATALANS L’Institut d’Estudis Catalans és una corporació acadèmica, científica i cultural que té per objecte l’alta recerca científica i principalment la de tots els elements de la cultura catalana. La llengua pròpia de l’Institut és el català i el seu àmbit d’actuació oficialment reconegut s’estén a les terres de llengua i cultura catalanes.
