Parts of it have barely survived as a memorial. MauAR does not want this piece of Berlin history to be forgotten by making the division more tangible. Augmented Reality (AR) makes it possible to take you back in time. Look through the camera of your phone and see the Berlin Wall and its history. THE APP CAN ALSO BE USED OUTSIDE BERLIN A part of the wall is shown in the place where you are. Also at home. The best visual result is obtained when there is a lot of space, for example outdoors. WHERE'S THE FORMER EAST OR WEST? MauAR shows you whether you are in the former east or west. You can see what the course of the wall was like and what gaps it left behind. Your distance to the wall is displayed so that you can experience it with your own eyes. UNDERSTAND THE STRUCTURE OF THE WALL IN 3D - AT HOME Use AR to explain the construction of the wall.
