Description

The HVAC ToolKit is an easy-to-use app that has been created to assist HVAC engineers in checking their designs and making quick calculations and estimations. The app includes helpful calculation tools for calculating friction losses in ducting, pipe sizing, parking ventilation, staircase pressurization, and estimating heat loads, pump head, fan ESP, among others, where the user is able to enter the required inputs and is given the calculated output. Each tool also includes instructions and abbreviated formulas that have been used to calculate the results. The app can be set to metric or imperial units and/or to the English or Arabic language. Users are expected to have some knowledge and understanding of HVAC engineering in order to use the tools properly. Users are also expected to check that the results are within an acceptable range for their respective projects.
