Description

RevMeter Pro: Professional Reverberation Time Analysis RevMeter Pro is a precision tool designed to measure the reverberation time (RT60) of any room directly from your iPhone. Whether you are an audio enthusiast, student, or acoustician, RevMeter Pro provides quick and reliable acoustic analysis using industry-standard calculation methods. Key Features: Dual Measurement Modes: Supports both Impulse (Burst) and Interrupted Noise methods for versatile testing. RT20 & RT30 Standards: Calculates RT60 based on RT20 and RT30 decay slopes, compensating for the dynamic range limitations of mobile hardware. Data Export: Easily share comprehensive measurement data (CSV) and visual charts (Screenshots) via email or save them to your device for further analysis. Visual Analysis: View real-time decay curves and spectrograms to understand room acoustics instantly. About Reverberation Time: Reverberation Time (RT60) is the time required for sound pressure to decay by 60 dB. Because achieving a full 60 dB dynamic range is challenging in many environments, RevMeter Pro utilizes the established RT20 and RT30 extrapolation methods to accurately compute the RT60 value. Measurement Methods: Impulse Method: Measures the room's response to a sudden sound, such as a hand clap or balloon burst. Interrupted Noise Method: Generates a controlled noise signal (Pink/White Noise) through external speakers and measures the decay once the source is cut off. Disclaimer: While RevMeter Pro has been calibrated against professional-grade equipment, it is intended for educational and reference purposes only. It should not replace certified hardware for critical professional certification. The author assumes no liability for damages resulting from the use of this software.
