Description

The ruID mobile app is the official application created for foreign citizens and stateless persons who are planning to enter or are already on the territory of the Russian Federation. The app enables users to fill out an entry application, obtain information about any entry restrictions, and provides convenient, secure, and multifunctional access to Russian government services. As of 2025, new entry conditions to the Russian Federation have come into effect. Now foreign citizens are required to submit an entry application and provide biometric data prior to crossing the border. The ruID app allows users to complete all these steps remotely in just a few clicks. • Submission of an entry application (purpose, dates, route, children). • Biometric submission: facial photo, passport photo, voice recording. • Check of entry clearance status Submission of entry application • A convenient form for filling out an application for a planned entry into Russia (visa-free regime). • Ability to specify travel dates, purpose of visit, route, and accompanying children's data. • If necessary — adding the reason for urgent entry with supporting documents. Biometrics • Submission of facial photo, passport photo, and voice recording for preliminary biometric identification. • Data verification via the Unified Biometric System (EBS). Digital Profile • Automatic creation of a unique profile ID (Digital Profile ID for Foreign Citizens), combining all user data: full name, citizenship, documents, SNILS, INN, visas, entry/exit records, employment, information about children, etc. • Viewing digital profile data.
