The basic principle of the hydraulic press is based on Pascal's law. Pascal's law is a principle in fluid mechanics that states a pressure change occurring anywhere in a confined, incompressible fluid is transmitted throughout the fluid, causing the same change everywhere. Pascal's principle is used in many hydraulic systems, such as hydraulic presses. The Hydraulic Pressure Calculator computes suitable parameters for both pistons in the hydraulic press. Pascal's Law Formula: F₁ = A₁ / A₂ * F₂ p = F₁ / A₁ where: F₁ - Force applied to the first piston. F₂ - Force applied to the second piston. A₁ - Area of the first piston.
